Thailand LTR Visa: 10-Year Residence for Qualified Professionals

The LTR visa (Long-Term Resident) is a government program launched in 2022 by the Thailand Board of Investment (BOI). It offers 10-year residence to high-income foreigners, wealthy retirees, investors, and highly skilled professionals. It is the only Thai visa that combines long duration, tax benefits, and the right to work.

Unlike Thailand Privilege (formerly Elite), which operates as a paid membership program, the LTR is a genuine government visa with strict eligibility criteria based on income and professional qualifications.
