Everything you need to know about the TDAC, Thailand visas and our assistance services
General
Who are you?
We are a private assistance service specialized in helping travelers with their Thailand paperwork: TDAC, visas, and administrative formalities. We handle the paperwork for you. We are not affiliated with the Thai government.
What is the difference with the official government website?
The official Thai government website allows free submission, but offers no verification or assistance. Our service handles everything for you, verifies all information, and ensures fast processing (1-4h).

How do I track my application?
After submission, you receive a unique tracking code by email (format TDAC-XXXXXXXX or VISA-XXXXXXXX). Use this code on our tracking page to check the status in real time.
Is the TDAC mandatory for all visas?
Yes, the Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) must be completed before each entry into Thailand, regardless of the type of visa you hold (tourist, DTV, retirement, work, student, etc.).
TDAC (Digital Arrival Card)
What is the TDAC exactly?
The TDAC (Thailand Digital Arrival Card) is the digital arrival card for entering Thailand. It is the electronic immigration form that replaced the old paper TM6 form.
What documents are required for the TDAC?
- Valid passport (at least 6 months validity after arrival date)
- Your flight / Thailand entry information
- Your accommodation address in Thailand
- Travel insurance (recommended but not mandatory for the TDAC)
How long does TDAC processing take?
On average, processing takes between 1 and 4 hours. You receive email notifications at each step.
When should I fill out the TDAC relative to my flight?
We recommend filling out the TDAC at least 72 hours before your flight. The form must be submitted and approved before your arrival in Thailand. Don't leave it to the last minute!
Tourist Visa & Exemption
How long can you stay in Thailand without a visa?
Many nationalities benefit from a 60-day visa exemption. You can extend by 30 days at the immigration office (1,900 THB), for a total of 90 days. The TDAC is mandatory.

What is the difference between visa exemption and the e-Visa TR?
Visa exemption is free and automatic (60 days, single entry). The e-Visa TR is a formal paid visa that offers more flexibility: single entry (1,000 THB) or multiple entries METV (5,000 THB, 6-month validity). Both require the TDAC.
How to extend a tourist stay in Thailand?
Go to the local immigration office before your 60 days expire with your passport, an ID photo (4x6 cm) and 1,900 THB (~β¬50). You will get a 30-day extension, usually on the same day.

DTV / Digital Nomad
What is the best visa for a digital nomad in Thailand?
The DTV (Destination Thailand Visa) is the ideal visa. Valid for 5 years, stays of 180 days per entry (extendable by 180 days), multiple entries. It requires 500,000 THB (~β¬13,800) in savings or proof of sufficient income.

Does the DTV allow working in Thailand?
The DTV allows remote work for a foreign employer or clients only. It does not allow working for a Thai company. For that, you need a Non-Immigrant B visa and a Work Permit.
Who is eligible for the DTV? Only developers?
No, the DTV is much broader! It applies to remote workers, freelancers, content creators, artists, musicians, Muay Thai practitioners, people coming for medical or wellness care, and even spouses and children of the holder. Any cultural, sports or remote professional activity qualifies.
Do I have to pay taxes in Thailand with a DTV?
If you reside more than 180 days per year in Thailand, you may be considered a Thai tax resident. Since 2024, income transferred to Thailand in the same year may be taxable locally. We recommend consulting a specialized tax advisor.
Retirement Visa (OA / OX)
How to get a retirement visa for Thailand?
You must be 50 years or older and prove either 800,000 THB (~β¬22,000) in a Thai bank account, or a monthly income of 65,000 THB (~β¬1,800). The OA visa (1 year renewable) is the most common. The OX visa (10 years) requires an investment of 3,000,000 THB.

Is health insurance required for the retirement visa?
Yes for the OA visa, it has been mandatory since 2019. Minimum coverage: 40,000 USD (hospitalization) and 10,000 USD (outpatient care). For the OX visa, it is strongly recommended but not mandatory.
Can you combine savings and pension for the OA visa?

Work, Studies & Family

What is the difference between the B visa and the Work Permit?
The B visa authorizes you to enter Thailand for professional purposes. The Work Permit authorizes you to perform paid work. One does not go without the other: the B visa is applied for at the embassy before departure, the Work Permit is obtained locally by your employer.
Can you work with a student visa?
No, in principle. The ED visa does not grant the right to work in Thailand. Exception: students employed by a company benefiting from the BOI (Board of Investment) can obtain a separate work permit.
